Central Bank of India SO Eligibility Criteria – (As on 01/10/2024) –
- UI/UX Designer: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any discipline. Design certifications preferred but not mandatory.
- JAVA Developer: B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE or MCA (full-time). Certifications in Java, Spring, or IBM are preferred.
- COBOL Developer: B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE or MCA (full-time). COBOL-related certifications are preferred.
- DOT NET Developer: B.E./B. Tech. in CS/IT/ECE or MCA (full-time). Microsoft “Dot Net” Certification is desirable.
- Server Administrator: B.E./B.Tech. in CS/IT/ECE or MCA (full-time). Preferred certifications include Red Hat/Linux Administrator.
- Network Administrator: B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE or MCA (full-time). CCNA/CCNP is mandatory; other advanced certifications are preferred.

Reservation and Relaxation –
Reservation & Relaxation will be given to only reserved & Special categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/EXSM /Women/ Sports Person /PWBD etc) as per government rules and regulations. Exam Pattern –
The structure of the Examination which will be conducted online/written are as follows –
a. For Developer posts:
The exam will be an online coding test for approximately three and half hours with the first half hour for working on paper (without computers) and the next 3 hours for coding on computers. This will help candidates read the questions properly, choose what they want to solve, and how to solve.
b. For Remaining posts:
The Objective (MCQ) type test will be conducted using OMR sheets and OBRIC system. There will be a total 50 objective type questions (Full marks -50) with test duration of 2 hours.
There will be no negative marks. The test will be available in English language. Other detailed information regarding the on-line/offline examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates for download along with the call letters from the Bank’s website.
Note – Minimum Qualifying Marks – Written Test – 50 % for General /EWS Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD .The interview will be conducted for 50 marks. Qualifying marks for interview will be 50% for General/EWS candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates
