RRC NFR Act Apprentices Eligibility Criteria –

Apprentice

Matriculation Pass with minimum 50% marks and ITI or National Trade Certificate in relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT approved institute

Note – 12th with Science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 50% marks and ITI in relevant trade for Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology) and Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology) trade

Note – SC/ST/PWD Category Candidate are required to have only pass marks (not 50% necessary) in Matriculation or 10+2 (Science)

Minimum Age – 15 years

Maximum Age – 24 years

Only Upper Age Relaxation Extra for Only Reserved Category

Age Relaxation –Age Relaxation in upper limit will be given to only reserved categories as per government rules and regulations. Note – The Candidates seeking age relaxation as per Govt. Guidelines will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at any subsequent stage of the selection process, as required by the RRC, NFR.

Reservation and Relaxation –

Reservation & Relaxation will be given to only reserved & Special categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/EXSM/ Women/ Sports Person /PWBD etc.) as per government rules and regulations. Reservation guidelines as laid down by Government of India from time to time for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD etc. shall be followed. Candidates claiming reservation under reserved categories should submit certificate as per the Govt. Prescribed format issued from the competent certifying authority.

Selection Process –

On the basis of Academic Results (Based on Marks Obtained in Matriculation (with Minimum 50% aggregate marks)+ITI in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The Final panel will be on the basis of average of marks in Matriculation and ITI.
However for , for Laboratory Technician (Pathology) and Laboratory Technician (Radiology), merit lists will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + 12th Science (in Physics, Chemistry & Biology).
